Critical Care is one of 13 clinical service programs provided through an integrated network of community, intermediate, and tertiary services to Fraser Health patients who are critically ill.Build on your career experience by:Planning, evaluating and delivering care to a variety of critically ill patientsCollaborating with patients and their families/care givers in developing the care planPartnering with members of the interprofessional care team in the provision of person-centered careParticipating in quality improvement activities and research by identifying patient care issuesGuiding patients and families/care givers about illness prevention, health restoration and health maintenanceProviding mentorship and acts as a preceptor to new nursing staff and studentsYour background includes:Graduated from an approved school of NursingCurrent practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)Completion of applicable post graduate course workCurrent Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)This role is a full-time position located at Peace Arch Hospital (PAH), a 171-bed hospital located in White Rock, B.C.

PAH offers medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric and telemetry services as well as 24/7 emergency services with after-hours emergency surgery with 53,136 visits annually.With its sandy beaches, warmest water temperatures on the coast, red brick promenade, waterfront eateries and dramatic sunsets White Rock has become known as the Jewel of BC.
