Meditech Rehabilitation Centre’s mission is to support & grow our clinician base so that patients worldwide will have access to this innovative therapy, which is non-invasive, proven to alleviate pain, restore normal function & improve the overall quality of life for those suffering from a wide range of physical disorders. Job Summary:Sr Medical Secretary’s primary role is to provide front desk administrative support by coordinating with clinical staff for effective patient flow management. Key Responsibilities:* Greeting, registering and scheduling patient follow-ups and referrals.* Facilitating an excellent level of customer service efficiently by organizing and managing patient flow.* Interacting with MD, Clinic Director, Laser Therapists, Chiropractor and Physiotherapist for optimal patient flow.* Responding to all telephone inquiries and promptly retrieving and returning messages daily from the voicemail system.* Handling all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.* Prepare and complete Direct and OHIP billing, RA and claims rejections.* Prepare and submit MVA treatment plans and invoices.* Complete third-party forms and letters as required.* Transcribe letters, emails, consult notes and articles as required.* Complete Daily Financials report for the clinic and submit it for auditing.* Other administrative tasks in support of clinic activities as required.  Requirements:* Experience in digitization of Medical Records.* Implementation of EHR & Practice Management Tools.* Medical Office Administration Diploma with a combination of education and at least five (5) years of administrative experience in managing the front desk.* Experience in OHIP billings.* Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Transcription.* Must be highly proficient in HCAI in preparing MVA plans and invoices.  Skills:* EHR.* Microsoft Office Suite – advanced level.* Excellent organizational and time management skills.* Demonstrated high-level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and as priorities change.* Ability to work independently on own initiative employing sound judgment, as well as in a team environment.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to display positive and professional behaviour in dealing with physicians, clinicians, patients, etc.* Ability to display a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information and documents.
