People Corporation is now recruiting for a Security Analyst to be hands-on in rolling out, enforcing & maintaining InformationSecurity policies, standards, procedures, and information protection technologies.

This key position requires demonstrated experience in designing, maintaining, and supporting Enterprise Communications Infrastructure components across a diverse group of geographically separated companies.

Areas of focus for this role would encompass current and future Network Topologies, ISP/carrier services, VoIP/SIP related technologies, contact center, and UC solutions, Firewalls, VLANs, wireless, Switching, Proxy Servers, and network endpoint protection.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform assessments and analyses of current hardware & software solutions and vendor-managed services.

Maintain and provide reporting on Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators as it pertains to usage/capacity planning and maintenance of all Corporate Network and Telephony (VoIP/SIP) Infrastructure.

Participate in vulnerability scans, patch management, conduct regular monitoring, and provide assistance in security audits.

Participate with business units, business operations, and technology teams for incident response, remediation, and root cause analyses.

Act as the point of contact for technical escalations and outages related to network/telecommunications, conducting additional technical investigations, and engaging with vendor support where required.

Evaluate and recommend upgrades, new solutions, and processes in collaboration with IT Infrastructure and Operations leadership.

Support the ongoing development of business continuity/disaster recovery plans.

Assist with the delivery of information security awareness training programs, integrations of merger and acquisition IT environments, and other IT Transformation efforts.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILL SET: 7-10 years in IT Infrastructure with a minimum of 5 years of leadership roles focused on data, system, network, telecommunication, and/or cybersecurity.

Completion of post-secondary education in Computer Science or Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with various Network and Telecommunications Infrastructure HW and SW and providers (e.G., next-gen firewall, IPS/IDS, MFA, Endpoint Protection, FortiNet, Cisco, HP/Aruba, Avaya, Nortel, CCaaS solutions, Session Border Controllers, and more).

Demonstrated experience in working with Canadian and US-based service providers for Internet, Phone, MPLS/VPLS/LAN-C/SD-WAN, and/or other WAN connectivity providers.

Results and solutions-oriented, with hands-on experience building and implementing new processes and best practices in IT Networking and Communications.

Strong diligence and attention to detail with the ability to navigate in an ever-evolving business and technical environment.

An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer-service focus and sense of urgency.

Ability to operate strategically and/or operationally, as the situation requires.

Ability to travel within Canada and the US as required Completion of SSCP, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or similar certifications would be considered an asset.
