This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted August 8, 2021.

Posterity Group helps governments and utilities understand and reduce energy use and emissions.

We provide end-use modeling and consulting services to support demand side management, resource planning, and energy/carbon policy decision-making.We want to hear from talented people with 5-10 years of experience of software development who have developed software tools, platforms, GUIs or data processing engines.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is well versed in Python and is also a life-long learner wanting to dabble with other languages and frameworks as well.Posterity Group is an equal opportunity employer.

Strong understanding of data structures, schemas and data optimization algorithms.

Experience transitioning platforms from monolithic to microservices structures.

Experience developing automation scripts.

Experience creating dashboards, GUIs or other user input mechanisms that interact with backend services.

Experience developing test cases.

Understanding of web applications.

Other Qualifications Be independent, focused, and self-motivated.

Have an engineering, science, computer science, data science or similar degree.

Be a hard worker and good problem solver.

Have an open and active curiosity and be willing to continuously learn new things.
