Do you want to help build some of the best available 2D and 3D modeling software for civil, mining, and geotechnical engineers?

Rocscience is looking for a talented software engineer with experience in C++, C#, and .NET to work on our 2D and 3D geotechnical software designed for civil engineering and mining.

Your responsibilities will include: ABOUT YOU
· You care about getting it right: You have a passion for excellence in execution and are willing to work independently and with your team to develop, test, and rework solutions until the software works as it should.

· You can work alone and within a team: You are self-directed and can set your own work agenda, but you also play nice and can collaborate with technical experts and software engineers to come up with the right solution.

· You are passionate about learning: You are curious to learn more about software and how customers use it to get their work done.

You are adaptable and take feedback well, highly collaborative, and keen to learn from others’ expertise as well as share your own.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· University degree in Computer Science or Engineering with strong academic performance (Master’s Degree is an asset)
· At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in professional software development with emphasis in:
• Experience with software design in C++, C# and Python.

• Experience with writing Unit Tests.

• Experience with code reviews.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 1 year of experience in relevant advanced degree Experience working with computation geometry and graphics programming.

Experience in advanced Mathematics including Linear Algebra, Calculus, Numerical Analysis Experience in computational algorithms and performance analysis.

Experience with Agile Software Development and use of DevOps.

Experience working with vendors and contract manufacturers.

Ability to work across multiple teams.
