Job Description As a Software Test Analyst you will be working closely with an agile team to onboard credit unions with multiple features, this role will be primarily working on 2 step verification on our digital banking platform (web and mobile).

What You’ll Be Doing Reviews and analyzes business requirements, design specifications and documentation; determines appropriate strategy and defines, modifies or develops procedures as required to accomplish objectives for testing applications; develops manual, automated or performance test cases as required.

Conducts Build Verification, Integration and System testing in accordance with established departmental testing and documentation standards to ensure applications are reliable, function as documented and free of defects.

Documents software testing results and develops recommendations for product improvement.

Provides explanation regarding the software testing results to product development teams, developers, business analysts, and other members of the Product Development department as required.

Recommends and assists in the development of software testing standards, procedures, and techniques to efficiently and effectively test and evaluate products.

Prepares work estimates for projects or project specific tasks of limited to moderate complexity.

Reviews test cases developed by more junior staff and provides information and advice to improve their testing process Assists senior team members with testing of a complex nature to gain exposure to a variety of software development issues.

Provides accurate and regular reports on testing status of assigned products; detects potential delays in an assigned task at an early stage and reports to Team Lead or Manager Maintains current knowledge of Central 1’s family of products, application functionality and the high level architecture of Central’s hosting environment Learns new technologies, techniques, processes etc.

Performs other duties as required to deliver exceptional service and to support Central’s business goals Qualifications What You’ll Have A university degree in Software Engineering, computer science or other related discipline with an IT focus (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years related experience Solid experience in Mobile App testing in both iOS and Android Experience using Jira and Wiki Thorough knowledge and understanding of software product design/ development methods and standards, good programming practice and thorough knowledge of structured test methodology, test techniques and test processes.

Able to perform manual, automated and simple to medium complexity performance testing.

Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, technical teams and other co-workers, work to schedules, and adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs.

Ability to work on multiple projects in a team environment.
