It is through talent with diversity across ethnicity, race, physical ability, neuro-ability, gender, gender identity/non-identity, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic class, education, ideology, parental status, veteran status, and any other unique differences, that we will be able to achieve truly innovative, independent thought.Making the decision to join Brane’s mission as a team member or a customer is making an equal commitment to foster respect for all people.Overview Of The RoleBrane has the expertise and technology to dream big in an industry with massive, unlocked potential.Success in this role is bringing your curious and creative nature means that you’re constantly staying ahead of security threats in our fast-paced, start-up environment!Responsibilities Analyze and manage Brane’s security program; Recommend improvements that align with overall corporate objectives; Continuously improve capability to identify, respond, and rectify issues; Maintain reporting on security program, including but not limited to status updates and incident reporting; Ensure compliance and adheres to all applicable regulatory standards and requirements; Partner with internal stakeholders to help drive a culture of security; Manage vendor relationships; Plan and manage multiple projects; Conduct internal compliance audits as required; Lead (including managing all internal stakeholders) all aspects of external information security audits, including but not limited to ISO 27001, ISO 27017, NIST and SOC2; Createand lead appropriate action plans to remedy deficiencies; Do whatever it takes to help set up the team for technical success!

RequirementsMust Haves Proven experience successfully managing security programs (such as ISO 27001/27017, NIST, and SOC2) in a public company; CISSP, CISM orother info-sec certification; Expert level experience in handling incidents; Advanced technical knowledge; Known for having stellar interpersonal skills; Passion and experience partnering with the business in a fast-paced, “roll-up-your-sleeves”, tech start-up!

Nice to Haves Fintech industry experience; Blockchain/crypto knowledge/industry experience.
