National Commercial Surety Leader (Anywhere in Canada)

Aon Is Looking For a National Commercial Surety Leader (Anywhere in Canada) As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Surety team in Canada.

As the National Commercial Surety Leader, you will report to the Senior Vice President and Practice Leader, Eastern Region.

Your Impact as a National Commercial Surety Leader Job Responsibilities: Provide leadership and coordination of all large and strategic commercial surety opportunities and clients with a view to securing and enhancing client engagement and monetizing Aon services Provide Surety and Performance Security Account Management on select strategic accounts Provide National leadership with respect to Aon Commercial Surety by coordinating surety resources with Aon Specialties and regions Develop new business opportunities such as Developer surety Engage in product development and innovation with clients and markets Provide Leadership by engaging in CSG business growth, including training, talent acquisition and engagement, and business strategies Other tasks as assigned You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of commercial insurance experience; Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business; Previous business development experience required; Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written; Client focused and proven relationship building skills; Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision; Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task; Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure; Must have strong computer skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.

Preferred Experience: Seven (7) to ten (10) years of commercial surety experience is preferred; Strong accounting, banking, and analytical skills Ability to travel domestically and internationally Education: Post-Secondary degree or a combination of education and equivalent years of industry experience General Insurance Level One (1) License required We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
