Your hours of work will be 8:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

We will provide you with company supplied van, tools, and cell phone.

About Us National Seating & Mobility is the largest rehab equipment supplier in British Columbia and we help improve our customers’ lives by providing medical equipment solutions for seating and mobility.

We have 12 locations in BC, including Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Prince George, and Nanaimo.

We are expecting further growth across Canada and there is no better time to join us now What does your typical day as a Rehab Equipment Specialist (Professional Sales Representative) looks like?

Develops new referral sources and clients through professional presentation to potential referral sources and medical personnel.

Completes proper evaluations to ensure appropriate recommendations for equipment that will best serve the client’s specific needs.

Ensures evaluations are completed and orders are entered in a timely manner and that all necessary clients and forwarded to the correct branch administration.

Assists in the timely completion of work orders which may involve, but are not limited to, research of components, calculation, and extension of equipment prices, responding to requests for additional information and preparation of quotes for clients, referral sources, and insurance companies.

Provides follow-up on work orders to ensure timely receipt and delivery.

Responsible for ensuring proper and timely delivery of equipment to clients.

Ensures necessary fitting adjustments and equipment modifications occur to guarantee the best possible product for the client.

Ensures proper client education occurs regarding equipment use, safety, and financial considerations.

Ensure that proper client education occurs throughout the process, and proper documentation and signatures are obtained.

Follows up, as necessary, to ensure client satisfaction.

Maintains knowledge of products, services, techniques, and clinical skills necessary to complete responsibilities.

Maintains knowledge and adheres to NSM’s policies and procedures, including Infection Control and Equipment Management policies.

Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Continuing education credits may be required.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.

Support the estimated date of delivery to patients.

Work Environment: This job operates in various settings including, professional office settings, warehouse settings, and some field settings.

Professional presence in a professional, clinical, medical environment.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift up to at least 75 pounds.

What are we looking for from you?

An enthusiastic professional with a minimum of two to three years of sales experience with medical equipment preferred.

Relevant education in Kinesiology, experience in the medical sector or ties to the medical referral community would be a definite asset.

Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.

Bring excellent customer service skills and a keen desire to reach new career heights.

Strong business acumen with efficient oral and written communication skills.

In-depth knowledge of clinical issues relating to paediatrics and geriatrics.

Funding knowledge within complex rehab technology.

Ability to network with clinicians and caregivers.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Ability to work well under pressure and to easily adapt to changes in priorities to meet program needs.

Must have a Class 5 Drivers License.
