Associate Director – Institutional Relations

The Role: The Director of Institutional Relations while working alongside the founders will develop and manage the complete process of outreach and bringing on board the new school partners and maintain the existing relationships.

The role requires you to have a strong B2B sales, communication skills and target focussed mindset.

As Director of Institutional Relations, you have a natural flair for communication, relationship building and are a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently, identify and pursue these identified opportunities.

Job Responsibilities: Identify and develop partnerships with schools that Aplicar does not have a relationship with across Canada Build and lead the team that will be responsible for identifying and building new partnerships and onboarding of new partner schools Work with the founders to develop and implement the plan to enter the USA, UK and other destination markets Develop, implement, and monitor growth strategies across the markets to achieve the corporate growth goals Develop an outreach calendar of activities and events to promote Aplicar amongst the potential school partners and build relationships Integrate feedback from school partners and other industry stakeholders to the development team to better serve and improve Aplicar’s platform Strategic initiatives and relationship strengthening through new initiatives with existing partners Qualifications: Minimum of bachelor’s degree Experience working on building partnerships Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and take initiatives in a fast-paced Startup Great Negotiation Skills Ability to plan, strategize and implement outreach plans and achieve targets Experience within the education industry, colleges or universities is an asset Thank you for your interest in Aplicar, however, only those applicants that have been selected for an interview will be contacted.
