Who knows, maybe youll be joining us at our next team Coffee ChatIntrigued?The Event Manager is responsible for collaborating and providing expertise (strategic, virtual, hybrid, tactical and experiential) to assist our clients (mostly associations and non-for-profit organizations) in achieving their annual goals.

include developing costs in line with budgets, reporting monthly on expense pacing, leading development of all timelines/work-back schedules, responsible for on-time completion of all steps along the timeline/work-back schedules, leading all stakeholders responsible for execution including direct management of assigned event organizers.But WHAT will you be doing?Event Strategy Strategic thinking to design events aligned to value proposition and financial objectives Understand the objectives driving event needs and design tailored events based on those needs Ensure an innovative and strategic approach to building and designing an event, constantly evolving, and leveraging new tools and practices Manage the event to ensure profit targets are being met through conscientious management of event expenses Provide recommendations to prepare the clients next event using empirical data gathered during the eventEvent Management Overall event project management Responsible for general project management of event acting as the central source of event knowledge and insightWork closely with your clients to understand the unique components, needs, expectations, requirements, and business logic for an event to ensure objectives are achieved within prescribed time frame and satisfy their reporting requirements Build project work schedule ensuring timelines are being met (working with key stakeholders) Organize, plan and lead meetings (in advance) for entire project: production planning, rehearsal, pre-cons, and status Bring together key leads for event kick-off meeting driving each event through the proper process stages Create working event roles and accountabilities (collaboratively) Organize creative ideation brainstorm (vision of event, look and feels, elements required) Ongoing tracking of deliverables to proactively identify issues and solutions Responsible for conducting presentations to clients relative to new processes and services Travel for pre-event, post-event, client visits, site visits and leading events onsite, as required Analyze and make recommendations about trends and advise clients on the optimal solutions available to achieve their business objectives Provide recommendations to improve internal processes, products, and service offering Provide recommendations throughout the course of the events along with a recommendation summary report at the end of a show Prepared to travel mostly to the US and in Canada, with the possibility of international travel, up to 25% of the year Identify in advance any flags or threats to the project keeping his or her manager informed Budget Management Oversee and manage the event budget Oversee the overall event budget, obtaining sign-off from client Ensure stakeholder estimates and final costs are captured in budget (i.e., event organizer provides their working estimates) Finalized event budget with variance summary completed and shared with appropriate partiesProfilDoes this fit your profile?

5 years of in-person event experience and 1 years of virtual event experience Experience building and running shows in virtual platforms The ideal candidate is a problem solver who leads with positivity and a can-do attitude.

Has led profit generating events and understands the role expense management plays Strategic and innovative approach to event design Exceptional collaboration and communication skills Working in organizations or agencies where multiple touch points for events was required Understands association audiencesand the unique needs different associations have Organized and detailed through planning and documentation Project management designation considered an asset Ability to travel within North America as required Agency experience considered an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)Does this sound like you?
