is an applied science research and development lab, located in Port Credit Mississauga, Ontario, specialized in the creation of innovative products focused on energy conservation and harvesting.

We are currently looking for an individual to join our team in the capacity of a Technical Account Manager.

Our ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional, who is results driven and demonstrates a passion for working on and solving challenging technical problems through researching appropriate solutions.

As a Technical AccountManager,you will play an important part in our productquality assuranceprocess and will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.Your training will consist of supporting software quality assurance, where you will be trained in the product design, software testing and applications, with theexpectation you will transition into a Technical Account Manager.Youwillthenbe requiredtosupport the sales process andmaintain relationships with clients from early pre-sales promotion of new products, through bring-up, qualification, production,to end of life ensuring all issues are fully resolved in a timely manner.

You will also have the opportunity to be part of a close knit and innovative team, and explore new technology aimed at energy conservation using machine learning,edge computing and data fusion, with focus on making this world a better place for future generations.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical, product and business knowledge to support sales process and strengthen customer relationships.Advise technical solutions, work with clients through the design-in phase and close the sale.Support post sales activities to provide the client with the confidence in our solution.Conduct training sessions for clients on products, technologies and tools JDRF provides,when required.Provide developers with customers’ feedback to help identify potential new features.Liaise with stakeholders to win new business and find opportunities for expanding client database.Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.Track quality assurance metrics and report on product performance.Design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions.Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.Identify, record, document thoroughly, track bugs and monitor debugging process results.Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.Review System requirements and track quality assurance metricsDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

Position RequirementsBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.Over 5 years of experience in software development and software quality assurance.Ability to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure where client issues arise, and deadlines need to be met.Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.Lighting industry experience is beneficial.Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.We value diversity and inclusion and encourage applications from all qualified candidates.
