We are seeking an experienced communications professional who is passionate about content creation and adept at communicating complex ideas and technical information in simple and compelling ways.

You have a sharp eye for detail, a love of language and a flair for storytelling.

You’ll be part of a team of content creators in the Rogers for Business Marketing organization who support the needs of prospective and current customers.

You will help drive the content strategies that help business buyers at every stage of their purchase journey.

In this role, you will write captivating marketing content and persuasive buyer enablement collateral.

You will also partner with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are effectively using the content to attract, win and retain customers.

You have experience producing B2B content in various formats, including sales presentations and brochures, web pages, case studies, blog articles, testimonials, campaign emails, video production, and more.

You should be equally comfortable drafting the content yourself and briefing an agency to execute the work, as well as providing strategic recommendations on how and where the content should be delivered based on the audience needs and stage in their buying journey.

You always deliver content that aligns with the audience’s needs, the communications objectives and the brand guidelines.

You are comfortable researching industry trends and specific business challenges to craft content that captures the attention of business buyers.

This role reports to the Sr.

Manager, Content and Product Marketing in the Rogers for Business Marketing organization.

What You Will Be Doing: Write compelling content (including sales presentations, product sheets, case studies, testimonials, video storyboards, campaign emails, web pages/ copy, etc.) and project manage content development through to launch Work closely with Product Marketing and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of strategy and objectives, including proposing appropriate content and delivery methods to meet the overall objectives and the needs of the target B2B audience Ensure your content is factually accurate, consistent with approved messaging and in the appropriate voice and format Brief agencies to execute creative requirements, including design and layout as required Manage and guide the agencies and freelance writers that supplement our content needs Manage review processes and obtain the appropriate stakeholder approvals Develop communications and enablement tactics to ensure Sales and Marketing teams are aware of content and understand how and when it should be used in selling conversations and customer journeys Manage and update content in relevant sales platforms Continuously track content engagement and success, and strategically work to improve and evolve key metrics What You Bring: Post-secondary graduate in marketing, communications, journalism or a similar field preferred 5 years of B2B content marketing and/ or copywriting experience Proven track record writing and editing high-impact, professional-quality marketing and sales content Experience writing for digital channels Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and emerging technologies preferred Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and timelines Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Excellent document formatting skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office application suite is expected) and a demonstrated flair for visual presentation Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset Schedule: Full time Shift: Day Length of Contract: Not Applicable (Regular Position) Work Location: 333 Bloor Street East (200), Toronto, ON Travel Requirements: Up to 10% Posting Category/Function: Marketing & Marketing Communication Requisition ID: 243146 Together, we’ll make more possible, and these six shared values guide and define our work: Our people are at the heart of our success Our customers come first.
