ABOUT THE ROLE – OVERVIEW As Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and executing CMiC’s product marketing strategy and programs.

Specifically, you will partner closely with the product management, solutions consulting and marketing teams to develop positioning, messaging content assets and promotional programs to create awareness and generate demand for CMiC’s solutions suite as a whole as well as for individual products, modules and capabilities.

Content assets will include solution briefs, videos, infographics and other product collateral, while promotional programs may include outbound email campaigns, webinars, showcase opportunities at trade shows and other events, etc.

ABOUT THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES Product Insights and Strategies Engage with—and gain insights from—customers and industry thought leaders Track industry trends, communicate to appropriate stakeholders and use them to inform future product strategy Gather, analyze and monitor competitive intelligence that will help inform product development, sales and marketing strategies Work closely with product management to support product roadmap, new feature and product rollouts, and product positioning Develop, understand, and maintain customer personas for current and future product strategy Develop compelling messaging and positioning that translates product capabilities and features into customer-focused benefits Create and manage overall product packaging strategy Product Assets & Programs Develop and maintain sales materials and collateral that enable effective selling into various market segments Work with customers and marketing team to identify and develop case studies, references and testimonials Plan and deliver webinars and presentations to internal staff (e.g., sales) and external stakeholders (e.g., prospects and customers) Manage the CMiC user reviews program to drive a steady flow of balanced customer testimonials by working collaboratively with companies such as TrustRadius, Capterra (Gartner) and G2 Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to educate them on properly positioning the product’s strengths, features and differentiating attributes Collaborate with marketing team on content creation, including product collateral, presentations, eBooks, videos, webinars, articles, blogs and other resources Help guide the creation of campaigns and provide support for events and other marketing-driven initiatives Requirements Education, Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or college diploma (Business, Marketing, Engineering, Math, Science an asset).

MBA a plus.

Minimum six (6) years of full-time professional experience, ideally in B2B technology marketing, sales, product management and/or strategic consulting Minimum three (3) years of experience in product marketing, product management, software marketing and/or a related field Software background considered an asset Experience using HubSpot (marketing automation) and Salesforce (CRM) an asset Excellent writing skills, with a focus on translating difficult concepts into clear and compelling descriptions that resonate with CMiC’s software buyers.

Ability to translate feature/functions into benefits and differentiation.
