About the role We are currently looking for a Unit Manager to join our growing team As Unit Manager, Special Investigations Unit, in our Claims Technical Services department , reporting to the Manager, Claims Technical Services, you will oversee operations relating to claims adjuster investigations to achieve the objectives of the Special Investigations Unit’s business plan, and implement structures needed to meet those objectives, in line with our business strategies and the organization of financial, material and human resources.

des Galeries) or St-Hyacinthe (2450 Girouard) Here are a few ways you’ll make a difference: Ensure the implementation of best practices, policies and procedures for the Special Investigations Unit.

Implement effective management and communication of partnerships among the Claims teams.

Manage the team’s day-to-day operations; assign claims files; manage the workload; provide technical support to the team.

Manage staff, including performance evaluations for unit members, establish and follow up on employee objectives, identify training needs and follow up on the team development plan, while fostering engagement and generating new talent.

Provide technical support for fraud operations.

Develop awareness, training and prevention activities.

Assess the Special Investigation Unit’s policies and procedures and their impacts.

Represent the department with brokers, other department managers and internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in various internal and industry committees.

Participate in national projects relating to fraud detection and reduction of inherent costs.

Manage complaints.

Maintain our high customer service standards.
