LeddarTech is a dynamic and stimulating work environment where, through interactions with our international teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute while continuing to improve your skills and expertise.Reporting to the CFO, the Vice PresidentFinance is expected to play a key financial leadership role within the company and is responsible for the oversight and production of all financial information including IFRS public company financial statements, Audit Committee reporting and the MD& A.The individual is expected to grow the finance team, improve financial systems and processes and enhance the depth of the finance group’s public company reporting capability.

Main responsibilities include :Provide leadership, direction and management of the corporate accounting team and ensure seamless functioning of accounting operations; Manage the financial reporting process – preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual public company financial statements; Oversee complexIFRS accounting policies; Be the company’s principal contact to the external auditors; coordinate and ensure all deadlines are met; Oversee the implementation of a new financial accounting and reporting system; Ensure continuous improvement of financial reporting processes; Production of all required reporting to all stakeholders (ie.

Creditors, government agencies etc); Timely preparation of Audit Committee financial reporting package; Manage all tax compliance and planning for the company; Work with the FPA group, to facilitate the development of robust financial analytics and metrics that support businesses and strategic decisionsInvolvement in M& A transactions includingproper integration of acquired companies; Support CFO in various initiatives related to the rapid growth of the company.Team management :Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance team; Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality; Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development; Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments; Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and CPA required.15+ years of relevant experience required, including 10+ years in an accounting leadership capacity, preferably within a growing publicly traded company ; Experience managing a diverse and high performing team of CPA and non-CPA professionals requiredRecent experience scaling a finance department; Broad and deep understanding of accounting principles (IFRS); Merger and acquisition experience; Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines; Bilingual (French/English) is mandatory TEMPTING RIGHT?
