Job SummaryThe Level 3 Engineering drafter prepares and revises the IPP (prefabricated) and STS (freestanding) parametric stack drawings according to the dimensions provided by the client or project manager and prepares the details for the production while respecting the priorities.To accomplish his or her role, the incumbent will have to master the Inventor software, which will be used to model parts used to fabricate various exhaust systems of Cleaver-Brooks and its Cheminée Lining division.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesFollow the drafting priorities according to the list established by the coordinator (scheduling).Assist the other drafters of the department, as needed.Ensure good communication with the other drafters, the coordinator and the project manager.Complete the general arrangement drafts according to the requirements of the customer or project manager.Ensure that the design complies with our standards, codes and with the installation instructions of our products.Interact with the Pre-Fab production drafter to ensure the feasibility of the parts and complete the production details.Program tools for parametric 3D Inventor Drawings used in the Production Details of STS freestanding stacks.Maintain and update all parametric Pre-Fabricated stack parts in Inventor.Be sure to follow the Project Data Sheet for STS Freestanding Stack Drawings and General Notes.Contribute in all R& D drafting development and special projects, when needed.Ensure that the drawings and details are completed and in accordance with our standards and have it approved by a level 2 drafter or the engineering director.Education and Experience requiredProfessional Diploma (DEP) in Building or HVAC Drafting or equivalent.Five (5) to six (6) years of relevant experience in 3D Drawings and parametric tools or relevant equivalent experience.Experience in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) an asset.Required knowledge Excellent knowledge of Inventor recent versions and all parametric 3D drawings.Reading Engineering Plans.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel for parametric drawings.Knowledge in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Asset.English & French (spoken and written) Asset.Skills and abilitiesAnalytical abilities and good judgment.Able to manage priorities effectively.Be methodical, structured and well organized.Good communicator.Team Player.Excellent 3D vision.
