International Documents Canada is a Canadian company that provides expert document authentication and legalization services to clients around the world.

We are looking to fill a permanent position of Document Processing Specialist.This position reports to the Director of Operations and Director of Client Services.

You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the office, working closely with a small team.

This position is focused on customer service, but almost all contact with clients will be by phone / email.You must have strong communication skills, both spoken and written.The successful candidate will benefit from being a part of small cohesive team.

There is room for growth and advancement as the company grows.RequirementsYour duties will be split between in-office work (email and telephone communication with clients, maintaining records, preparing courier shipments) and on the road doing document delivery.You must value customer service above all, be highly organized and have a keen eye for detail.

Our clients are often in a rush, and at times require a lot of patience.

They rely on us to make sure their documents are prepared correctly.

Even a small mistake on our part can be costly.There is no experience required with the authentication and legalization process itself.

Basic computer skills are required and more advanced skills would be considered an asset.

You must be fluent (written and oral) in English.

Fluency in French would be highly valued, but is not essential.

Fluency in additional languages – and especially Spanish, Arabic, or Chinese, would also be highly valued.

You must also have a valid driver’s licence and be comfortable driving in downtown Ottawa.BenefitsWe are a small team that works closely together.
