The Operations Coach executes daily and weekly operational plans to meet and exceed customer service requirements.

The Operations Coach is responsible for the motivation, training, and leadership of their team of up to 30 employees.The schedule of this DAY SHIFT is Friday to Sunday 6:30 am to 6 pmYour role:Monitor Team Member performance ensuring Team Members are executing assigned tasks safely, accurately and as scheduledAssigns work to Team Members taking into account available hours, skills sets and other resources to ensure operational targets are metMentor and build relationships with Team MembersCoaches, counsels and trains Team Members to ensure competence, as well as, prepare them for future opportunitiesSet Team Members up for success; achieve or exceed key performance indicators, safety, performance and budget targets; record daily performance metricsPromote safety in the work environment and ensure all safety rules are followedDirect resolution to equipment issues (for example, replace failed equipment or contact Maintenance)Identify and assist in implementing process improvementsPerform other duties as requiredLI-FG2020Job RequirementsThe qualifications we are looking for:3-5 year prior supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing or distribution environmentPost-secondary education is an assetInterpersonal skills to communicate information, foster a team-oriented work environment and provide appropriate coaching and training.Effective problem solver, able to define a problem, gather data, analyze causes, determine solution criteria and generate solutions.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required to effectively delegate tasks, follow-up, monitor work performance, provide valuable feedback and hold individuals accountable to expectations.Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to apply a sense of urgency to ensure customer service levels are maintained.Ability to develop and monitor a business plan, identify and provide for the required resources to implement the plan.Ability to build rapport and trust with othersDemonstrable knowledge of MS Office software suite (word, excel, access, outlook)Communicates and listens effectivelyHas knowledge regarding safetyThe masculine generic is used without discrimination and only in order to simplify the text.
