Warehouse Supervisor


This is a Contract position in Burlington, ON posted October 31, 2020.

– Very safe environment What you will be doing?

– Overseeing full team of up to 5 warehouse associates
– Managing a contingent workforce, when needed to support special projects
– Operating equipment such as: computers, forklifts, shrink wrappers, labellers, scanners, etc
– Other tasks you will perform: organizing shipments, receiving and shipping product, offloading product, organizing area, etc
– Assisting with quality control and inventory on the warehouse floor
– Picking and packing, and ensuring accuracy and shipment deadlines are met
– Off loading shipments, and ensuring product matches paperwork / reports
– Run reports and provide updates to leadership team
– Performing inventory counts, and tracking stock (audits as well)
– Training new hires, mentoring existing employees
– Review, discipline and coach production team
– Overseeing and executing health and safety programs What we’re looking for:
– 2 years warehousing / supervisory experience
– Forklift license an asset
– operating experience required
– Computer savvy
– Microsoft Excel, Warehouse Management System experience required
– Team player, lead by example
– very hands on, working leader
– Knowledge of continuous improvements initiatives
– You have the ability to implement and hold staff accountable to policy and procedures
– High attention to detail and organization is crucial to success in this position
